- Early Yuan marks circa 1916-1920
- Superb bright condition for collectors.
- Yuan is a widely collected blue & white pattern and is the work of Frederick Rhead
- 6.5-inch rim diameter and 1.25-inch tall at the outer rim
- Very similar to the Furnivals Old Chelsea.
- The central decoration is from an early copper plate transfer
- 3 kiln support marks in the glaze on the rear as is expected.
- Occasional knife marks and some glaze crazing.
