- Early Yuan marks and date stamp May 1935
- Superb bright example oval serving platter
- 14-3/8th-inches by 11-1/8th-inches oval serving platter.
- Yuan is a widely collected blue & white pattern and is the work of Frederick Rhead
- Very similar to the Furnivals Old Chelsea.
- The central decoration is from an early copper plate transfer
- 3 kiln support marks in the glaze on the rear as is expected,
- Rare near mint condition
