Beautiful Vintage Swinnertons Nestor Velum series pink rose bud pattern teacup trio

• Circa 1950's Nestor Velum was a brand of Swinnertons pottery
• These rare mint condition trios date from the mid 1950's and feature pink rose buds on grey black foliage.
• The teacup is typical mid century stem footed with a gloss black outer glaze and handle, all other surfaces in the sets is off white glaze with thick hand applied gilt rim detailing.
• 3.5-inch diameter rim teacup tapering to 1.5-inch base plates plain gilt rim
• 5.5 inch diameter saucers 1.5 inch cup recess plain gilt rim
• 6-7/8th-inch diameter side plate plain gilt rim
• Classic Mid Century design now considered retro and purchased in their original card box, never used.
