• Royal Doulton Chateau Rose (H4940) Tureen with Lid
•  The outside of the tureen is a mid-grey with two white handles. On the inside, against an off-white background, the pink rose in the centre of the tureen stands out beautifully, complemented by the thorny stems, fresh green leaves and a bud staring to open with just a hint of pink petals.
• The tureen, perfect for bring vegetables to the dinner table, is edged with a platinum trim around the top edge, the base and the handles.
  
• Manufactured between 1964-1970
• Tureen - 10 - Inch across, 12.25 - Inch across including handle, 7.25 - Wide, 3 - Inch high at the centre of the tureen
  
• In Very good, vintage condition
• Unfortunately, the lid's handle has a split in it which would have happened during the firing process of manufacturing. It is perfectly functional and doesn't effect the beauty of the tureen. It is the same as the inside in pattern but the design has two roses, one either side of the grey handle.
