Rare Ralph Hammersley and Sons Asiatic Pheasants Ironstone China plate

  • Rare flow blue example probably from the Tunstall works Stoke on Trent
  • Asiatic Pheasants 9-3/8th-inch diameter plate with a scalloped and ribbed rim.
  • date stamped 2-99 and Patent Ironstone with R Hammersley and Son Factory stamp.
  • Condition note. there is s small chip on one of the ribs on the plate surface. There is also an area of glaze ware to a 1-inch segment of the inner rim. There is a stable antique crack only apparent on the underside of the plate extending inwards approx 1.5-inch. There is some nibbling to the rims. There is micro-crazing on the front glaze.
