• In 1851 the company exhibited Asiatic Sketches at the Great Exhibition
• Printed cartouche back stamp with 'Pekin Sketches', pagoda and initials JC
• This is a very nice piece of increasingly rare antique pale blue and white ironstone china with all the evidence of almost 200 years use.
  
• We are also listing four dinner plates. We are also listing two dessert plates in 18th Century shape which match this large platter.
• Condition note 4 small anterior rim chips all antique as shown, probably from wall hanging clasps.
