- Fern design with W Adams back stamp mark and impressed w Adams Tunstall with gilders marks 967 in hand script.
- This is a rare example of early Ironstone which came to be known as "Adams Blue" due to it's almost violet colour in certain lights.
- William Adams was reputed to be Josiah Wedgwood's favourire pupil. He operated the Greengate Works in Tunstall between 1789 and 1805
- Collectors cabinet condition.
