Fine Antique Porcelain China Two Temples or Broseley pattern Tea Cup and Saucer

  • Superbly detailed antique English Porcelain in the Chinese style.
  • Temples pattern sometimes called Broseley teacup and saucer
  • 3-2/8th-inch upper rim diameter plain bowl porcelain early London shape teacup 2-1/8th-inch tall rolling scalloped rim
  • 5-5/8th-inch diameter saucer with deep straight rising plain rim with gilt, no central well
  • Both pieces with antique round crown stamps most likely Copeland Garret but we have not been able to confirm this from records
  • Date range circa 1810-1830
  • The porcelain cup has taken on a cream colour with age especially noted on the arch handle
  • From the handle shape this is almost certainly pre Spode Copeland
