Antique Copelands Bone China Teapot in pastel blue Willow Pattern dated 1891
Antique Copelands China Teapot in a Willow Style Pattern dated 1891
- Beautiful fluted, oval teapot from English company Copelands
- Gilt around the base and end of the spout, on the handle, the rim of the teapot opening, the rim of the lid, and as a lovely finishing touch, as part of the finial flower design
- The teapot is blue and white in the style of the willow pattern but with Copelands' own take on it
- Rib-walled oval translucent bone china with a delicate floral button lid handle
- The thing that's really interesting is the marking on the teapot that reveal it's age. This teapot is engraved with F91 meaning it was made in February 1891
- It is in very good antique condition considering, with just a light discolouration around the inner handle.
- Incredibly rare fine early example in collectors condition.
