Antique Colonial Pottery Malvern Pattern Blue & White China lidded serving Tureen

  • Date range 1893 - 1910
  • 11.5-inch long oval serving tureen 7-inches wide and 5.5-inches tall
  • Oval lid with handle
  • One of a pair of malvern tureens being listed, both with condition notes.
  • Condition note there is a very small under surface chip on the lid as shown
  • Stamp marked Malvern and Rd No 406303
  • Fine antique patina and remnants of gilt on the rims
  • F Winkle & Wood operated the Colonial Pottery site between 1893 and 1931, pieces in Malvern started to have the Winkle & Co Factory mark after around 1910 so these pieces date from before this.
  • During production Malvern was produced in Green and white, brown and white, brown with colour and this, the most popular blue and white versions.
